David Islip

Passed away on July 24, 2021, in the early morning at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in his 76th year. Beloved husband to Christine (nee Reeves) of 52 years. Cherished father of Scott Islip (Mary Ann), Derek Islip (Katie), Victoria Spalding, and Kevin Islip (Katherine). Loving grandfather of Ryan, Christopher, Andrew, Emerson, Harrison, Carter, Zachary, Claire, and Bradford.

David was an avid golfer. For the last 20 years, he was a member of the Port Carling Golf Club where he and the original four - Jack, John, the late Dan, and the late Paul - would spend their afternoons. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. In keeping with David’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held with a Celebration of Life to follow in the future.
