It is with great sadness we announce that Alfred Dan MacMillan, 90, of Port Carling passed away March 8, 2023. He was surrounded by his devoted family as he entered the presence of Jesus. Alfred was a kind and thoughtful soul who will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched.
He is survived by his loving wife Jeanette (née Cowburn) of 67 years; and children Daniel, Christopher (Karen), and brothers Lyle (Elizabeth) and Keith. Also predeceased by brothers Dugal, Arnold, and sister Alice. Forever cherished by his grandchildren, Andrew (Cheryl), Heather (Roland), Jeffrey, Andrea (Jean-Guy), Valerie (Geoff), Hayley (Tina). Beloved by his great grandchildren, Reuben, Alaina and Toby.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the final visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a celebration of life on Saturday March 18th at Port Carling Community Centre 2:00 pm, preceded by visitations on Friday at Reynolds Funeral Home in Bracebridge. Please refer to the Reynolds Funereal Home website for more information.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
