Allan Ellis

Allan Robert "Al" Ellis (Ellis Electric, Baysville) died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Ellis (nee Draper) and dear father of Nancy Day (Rick Wood) and Michael Ellis (Michelle). Loving grandfather of Alison, Lindsay, Shawna, Jennifer, Megan, Samantha and Abigail. Al is also survived by his mother Evelyn Ellis, brothers Murray (Shirley), Brian (Winnie) and Bob (Brenda) and Shirley's brothers Cecil and Jack Draper and sister Melba Montgomery. He was pre-deceased by his father Jack Ellis and mother and father-in-law Willard and Lila Draper. Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel", Bracebridge on Sunday, June 24 from 2-4 p.m. and at the Church of the Blessed Kateri, Baysville on Monday, June 25 from 1-2 p.m. where the service will be held at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the Baysville Community Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial gifts to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
