Arthur Luker

Arthur Lorne Luker "Pop" Died peacefully at the age of 94 on September 22nd, 2015. Born and raised in Lorne Park, Ontario, Art was the only child to Arthur Evan and Irene Luker. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret Hill, his daughter, Irene Allen and three grandchildren, Ryan Parson, Evan Luker and Mark Parsons. Father to Arthur Norman (Pat), Lynda Parsons (Norman) and Bobby (Tina). Grandfather to Jeff, Mark, Jimmy (Brenda) and Kailey Luker; Craig Parsons; Morgan and Amos (Kellie) Luker. Pop Pop to Beau, Amos, Jeffrey, Alexis, Kale and Evan May Luker. Art owned and operated "Art Luker Motors" in Lorne Park, a family run business for more than 50 years. Art was a veteran of WWII where he was a wireless operator and tail gunner for the RCAF and flew coastal patrol in a Lancaster aircraft. Pop owned and operated his own aircraft for most of his life. Pop's love for flying, auto mechanics, and Muskoka was shared with his family. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation.
