Anne Tournour died peacefully on May 28, 2015 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Beloved wife of 57 years to Arthur and loving mother to Cathi (Gord), Rob, Vince (Jen) and MarySue. She delighted in her grandchildren: Jacob, Byron, Matt, Jen, Maggie, Robyn, Rachael, Teghan and Garth; and her great grandchildren, Luca, Akayla and Braden. Survived by her sister Dorothy and pre-deceased by Caye, Raymond, Helen, Frank, Tom, Gerry, Charlie and Nelson. She will be sadly missed by countless nieces, nephews and friends. Anne courageously faced numerous health challenges always maintaining her sense of humour, faith and positive spirit. We will always be grateful for the outstanding and loving care shown by the nurses, doctors, and all the support staff at the hospital. Anne was deeply committed to her faith and was always putting others before self. After serving as administrator at St. Joseph's Catholic Church for many years, she was awarded a papal medal. This is just one small example of a lifetime of commitment to the community and the people around her. She will be lovingly missed and always in our hearts.
