Benjamin Eager Tassie (former owner, operator Rosseau General Store) died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Lillian Tassie of Bracebridge . Dear father of Stephen (Leslee) Tassie of Bracebridge, Leslie (Jane) Tassie of Milton, Ruth Jarvis (David) of Burlington and Daniel Tassie of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Jonah (Caitlyn), Logan, Caitlin, Jordan, Taylor, Lee (Natalie) of Carter and great grandfather of Teagan, Westley, Scarlett. Predeceased by his brother James (Vicki) and sister Agnes. A Memorial service will be held at St Thomas Anglican Church in Bracebridge on Thursday, March 30th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. As desired expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Auxiliary or St. Thomas' Anglican Church, Bracebridge.
