Bertram Garfield French Died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Wednesday, November 25th in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Milly (Stevenson) French of Port Sydney. Loving father of Bert French Jr. of Kilworthy, Larry (Marilyn) French of Port Sydney, Mair French (Brian Hemmings) of Port Sydney, Faye French (Bob Springer) of Port Sydney, Helen French of Port Sydney, Dan French of Port Sydney, and Dorrie French (Keith Dawe) of Milton. Dear brother of Marion Garrow, Dorothy McGill, Elmer French, and predeceased by Arthur French. Grandfather and great grandfather to many. Friends will be received at Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' on Thursday, November 26th from 7-9 p.m., Friday, November 27th from 2:30-4:30 & 7-9 p.m., and Saturday, November 28th from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at Deer Lake Gospel Hall, Port Sydney on Saturday, November 28th at 2:00 p.m., burial to follow at Stephenson Cemetery. Memorial gifts to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or ELIM Homes would be appreciated by the family.
