Betty Keffer

KEFFER, Betty Kathleen Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at South Muskoka memorial Hospital, at the age of 93. Betty was predeceased by her parents Charles & Muriel Keffer. She is survived by one sister Helen Doreen Maywood of Bracebridge, and two nephews Robert Wayne Dodd (Catherine) of Bracebridge and John Lawrence Dodd (Mary Lou) of Wichita, Kansas. She was the great aunt of Braydon and Keeley Dodd, also of Wichita, Kansas. Betty will be dearly missed by a large extended family, who will remember many happy summer celebrations at "the cottage" in Muskoka and numerous winter holidays together in Texas. Betty lived most of her life in Toronto, working for Berkel Products for 30 years, retiring in 1985. She spent the past year as a resident of "Bracebridge Villa" along with her sister Doreen. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service is planned for the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
