Bev was born in Newmarket on July 26th 1934, and grew up in Roaches Point with his parents and brother (Ted), and sister (Muriel).
At 16 years old, Bev moved to Toronto where he started his career as a pressman with Shell Oil for 25 years.
In 1957, Bev married his wife Joan, of 61 years.
They then had two children, Scott and Kim, and moved to Queensville where they resided for 9 years. Bev was the president of the optimist club where he enjoyed enriching the lives of youth.
The family then moved to Muskoka in 1977. Bev continued his career with printing for a short time before he joined the team at Canadian Tire at the parts counter, until he retired.
Bev enjoyed travelling, fishing, horseback trail- riding in the mountains, snowmobiling, and being with his family.
For Bev, family was his heartfelt passion and priority. He was always there to help, guide and support. His lead will be greatly missed.
