Burton "Bud" Wice

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Bud Wice, devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Bud passed away peacefully, after a long fight with Kidney Cancer and was grateful for the dialysis that kept him alive and well for the past 6 years.  Bud passed on April 29th at the age of 80 years old at Andy’s House/Hospice Muskoka.    

Beloved husband to Joan whom he shared his life with for the past 60 years, brother to Laura Fleming, brother in-law to Bill and Chantal Reid.   His children, Kimberley (Jason) and Jeffery (Ellie), were the light of his life, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments.  Grandfather to Lily Jane, Makenzie Ellen and Quinlyn Grace, extended family called him Uncle Bud, GG Bud touching the lives of Danielle, Andrew their kids along with all the nieces, nephews who filled his heart with love.   

A celebration of Bud's life will be held on Saturday May 25th at the Mactier Legion from 1-4 p.m.
