DEGUTIS, Charles Peter Suddenly on Monday, September 14, 2015, at his cottage in Bala, Charles passed away leaving his family and friends shattered with a profound sense of loss and sadness. Our Charles was an exceptional man, larger than life and always engaged in a new cause. He had boundless mental energy, enthusiasm, curiosity and a quick wit. He had many passions. He was a fiercely competitive scrabble master; a life-long learner; a masterful orator and story teller; a political enthusiast and described affectionately by his friends as a ‘master of misadventure ‘. He really enjoyed life, had a big heart and often had kind words to share and a funny story to tell. Predeceased by his loving parents Zig and Vivian, Charles leaves behind his brother Ray Degutis, his aunt Lois Weir, many cousins and a host of dear, treasured and loyal friends. In keeping with Charles request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Charles life will take place at a later date.
