BIRD, David Thomas Vyvyan Suddenly following an accident while logging near his home on Sunday September 25th, 2011, in his 68th year, beloved husband and best friend of Sharyn. Father of Krista (Mike) Cardiff of Etobicoke and Jenny Bird of Richmond, TX, grandfather to Michael, Katie and Kole, Dave will be dearly missed. Beloved brother of Peter (Linda) of Bracebridge, ON and Byron (Peggy) of London, ON. Extended family to Hugh, Delphene, Norma, Allan, Paul and multiple nieces and nephews. Dave was a teacher at BPS for over 30 years and after retirement he worked tirelessly as a handyman both at home and for many friends on Lake Muskoka. Dave was an avid outdoorsman, loved photography and his loyal dog Copper. We'll miss you Dad. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of a funeral, family and friends are invited to join Sharyn and family at their home for a Celebration of Life on Thursday September 29th between 2pm and 7pm. 1058 St Elmo Drive, Bracebridge ON, P1L 1X2.
