KNEESHAW, Allan "David" January 15, 1938 ~ April 7, 2016 Our beloved husband, brother, father and grandpa has died but he's left us with beautiful memories and love in our hearts. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Muskoka Conservancy or the charity of your choice. Messages of condolence can be left at www.reynoldsfuneral.com Some of the things we'll remember most about him are: He was passionate about teaching kids to read and just teaching in general, inspiring countless to the pleasures of learning. He loved poetry, reciting his favourites over and over, and writing his own. He was fascinated by planes, from dreams of flying as a youth, to earning his pilot's license, to sharing this passion by taking his children and grandchildren into the sky as the pilot. He enjoyed music from his early band years in Toronto to participating for many years in the Muskoka Men of Song. He loved telling stories, repeating his favourites many times over; enjoying them as much as the very first time. He liked anything Czech, especially the Christmas blessing. He never missed watching the weather forecast. He LOVED ice cream!! He was kind-hearted especially when it came to kids and animals. He enjoyed feeding the birds and the chipmunks (like his pal Chippy). He was happy just to sit in his lawn chair at the beach or on the deck, watching people swim, having fun and encouraging them on. He liked to make wine and bread but even more he liked to share them. He loved gardening, starting tomatoes from seed in the spring to the final harvest of potatoes in the fall. He never complained, but instead taught us to love and to laugh and to enjoy the pleasures of life.
