MacFarlane, David James A long time employee of the Town of Bracebridge and a proud member of the Bracebridge Volunteer Fire Department. Dave passed away at his home in Vankoughnet on Saturday, September 10, 2011 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Hilda. Loving father of Brad (Michelle), Shane (Tracy), Allan (Michelle), Mandie (Jim), Lynn (Adam) and the late Babbette. Survived by son-in-law Jim. Proud grandfather of Ben, Dana, Cory, Bradley, Katelyn, Andrew, Trinity, Serena, Madison & Brennan. Dear brother of Robin (Marg), Butch (Marilyn), Rod (Sylvia), Jimmy (Nancy), Nancy and Anne (John). Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' in Bracebridge, on Monday, September 12, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. The funeral will be held at The Village Square, 1198 Vankoughnet Road, Vankoughnet on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Village Square (c/o The Town of Bracebridge) or The Canadian Cancer Society would be preferred by the family.
