Dianne Chatillon

Dianne passed away peacefully at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on April 22 with her family by her side.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Tina Chatillon (Craig Roberts) and Nicole Lawrence (Bill Lawrence); grandchildren Taylor,  Brooke, Liam, Emily, David, Kali and Corey; her former spouse Gary Chatillon; sister Cindy. As well as her nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Dianne will also be missed by her friends,  Euchre Ladies and her co-workers from Walmart.

She was predeceased by her brothers Harold (sister in-law Wilma) Hampson and Keith Hampson.

Daughter of Walter and Vesta Hampson,  born January 7th 1947 in Bracebridge ON.

Mom loved her family more than anything and loved getting to together with everyone.  After the passing of our grandmother Mom proudly took over the role of family historian and loved sharing pictures and stories with everyone in the family.   Mom also had a strong faith and belonged to the Utterson United Church since childhood, where you could often find her singing in the choir or the occasional solo.  On occasion Mom would also play the organ for the church.   Mom looked forward to and loved playing euchre with her Euchre Ladies every month. Mom loved her job at Walmart and worked full time right up to her admittance to Hospital. She had an infectious smile and had a way of making everyone she met smile and feel special.

Memorial visitation will take place on Friday, May 6th from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Utterson Community Hall. A small reception will follow.

Memorial donations can be made to Sick Kids Hospital or South Muskoka Memorial Hospital.

The family would also like to send a special thank you to the nursing staff at SMMH and to Dr. Kapos for her excellent care of our mother over the past years.
