THOMPSON, DONALD TOWNSHEND Final Flight - October 16, 2011 Pilot for over 40 years Formerly with the RCAF, Wardair Canada and the Ministry of Transport at Ottawa as an Air Carrier Inspector Former member of the Rotary Club of Bracebridge and Probus Don lived with Parkinson's disease in recent years and succumbed to the results of this illness on Sunday, October 16th, 2011 at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge at 80 years of age. Beloved husband of Ann of Bracebridge. Loving father of Bruce (Sue) of Gatineau, QU, Patricia Ann "Patti" Correia (Roger) of Markham, ON, David (Wendy) of Sydney, Australia & Susan Thompson of Burlington, ON. Proud grandfather of Tara & Kimberly Correia and Alex & Will Thompson. Predeceased by his brothers. In accordance with Don's wishes there will be no service and cremation has taken place.
