Doris Marguerite Shortt (nee Creasor)

1929 – 2025

Doris peacefully passed away on January 27, 2025, at Eastholme Home for the Aged in Powassan, Ontario in her 96th year. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Lawrence. Doris leaves behind her son, Larry (Mary), and daughter, Brenda (Allen Crowder). Proud grandmother to David (Amanda), Victoria (Randy), William (Kaitlin), Krista (Elliott), Melissa (Jay), and Victoria, and great-grandmother to Alexis, Matthew, Nicholas, Mikayla, and Alexander.

Sister of Lillian Gillan and the late Betty Allen, Truman Creasor, Marian O’Rourke, and Lloyd Creasor.

At this time there will be no services. Interment to take place in the spring at St.Thomas’ Anglican Cemetery, Ullswater where she will be reunited with her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or Parkinson’s Society.
