Surrounded by the love of her family Mom passed away peacefully at the Pines Long-Term
Care Home on Monday, April 15th, 2019, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her
husband Wilbert Kane. Cherished mother of David (late Nella), Linda (Andy), Donald (late
Claudette) and Karen (Jim). Mom was a loving Gramma to Ryan, Allison, Allia and Melissa.
Dear sister of June Dennison and Charlie (Connie) Batty. She was predeceased by her sister
Mary Richardson-Doucett. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be
held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Pines for their kind and compassionate care of Mom.
We are especially grateful to Mom's personal angels Mary Kuipers and Barb Mariani
("Dragonfly") for their loving support and companionship over the past three years.
Memorial donations in Mom's honour to the Pines Support Committee
may be offered through Reynolds Funeral Home at 705-645-2257.
