STOKES, Dr. Ronald Edward - Member of Muskoka Lodge No. 360, AF & AM, Muskoka Shrine Club At the Waterford Retirement Residence, Kingston on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Edna (Barber) Stokes. Proud father of Cathy Johnston (Bill) of Kingston, Ontario and Dean (Merry) of Prescott, Arizona. Loving grandfather of Michael Armstrong (Kerri-Lynn), Nicole, Kevin Johnston, Lauren Vietmeier (Blake) and Eric (Britny), great grandfather of Ethan, Cameron, Alexis and Anders, dear brother of Malcolm (Carol), godfather to Ian Thomson and Lisa Burwell. A graduate of the University of Toronto and a resident of Bracebridge for many years, he was a well respected Psychiatrist and an avid golfer. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. Visitation at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, Thursday, August 13 from 2-4 p.m., then to REYNOLDS FUNERAL HOME "TURNER CHAPEL", 1 Mary Street, Bracebridge, Friday, August 14 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services at Reynolds Funeral Home, Bracebridge on Saturday, August 15 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. James Thomson officiating. Interment to follow at St. Thomas' Church Cemetery, Bracebridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alzheimer Society of Ontario, Bracebridge Humane Society, Kingston Humane Society or the Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal.
