LEACH, Edith (nee Whitehead) Died peacefully at The Pines in Bracebridge, on Monday, March 30, 2015 at age 96. Beloved wife of the late Donald Arthur Leach (1997). Loving mother of Major Sandra Cooper (Richard), Douglas Leach (JoAnne) and Major Beverley Franco (Philip). Proud grandmother of David Cooper (Karen), Robert Cooper (Bonnie), Mark Cooper (Patti), Lorainne Blackman (Paul), Jennifer Thompson (Neil), Amanda Thompson (Jeremy) and Gregory Leach (Catherine). Great grandmother of 13. Survived by sister-in-law Edith Eleanor Leach, niece Jean Leach and nephew Jack Carew (Helen) The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' in Bracebridge, on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 6 - 8 p.m. The funeral will be held at The Salvation Army Community Church in Bracebridge on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment service will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay, Ontario, on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial gifts made to the Salvation Army Services of either Bracebridge or Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.
