KINGSHOTT, Edwin Beverley Claude - June 6, 1940 - November 8, 2017 Following a lengthy illness with pulmonary fibrosis, Ed passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his home in Orillia on Wednesday, November 8th, 2017, in his 78th year. Ed was the beloved husband of Carol (Creasor). He was the loving father of Gregory (Linda) of Kilworthy and Tim (Mari) of Sudbury. Proud grandfather of Tia, Liam & Brendan. Dear brother of Maurice (Audrey), Eleanor Taylor (the late Ken), Catherine Smith (Jim), Brenda Hunt (Steve), Terrance (Eileen), Anne Reid, Earnest and the late Delbert, Albert, Sidney, Reta and Verna. Brother-in-law to Diann and Mary. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Viola Pearl. Friends may join the family on Friday, November 10th, 2017 from 7-9pm at Reynolds Funeral Home, Bracebridge, where the funeral will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 11th, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Peter Simmons officiating. In keeping with Ed's wishes, cremation will follow the funeral and his ashes will be taken to "Hillbilly Heaven" at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Lung Association, The Canadian Diabetes Association or St. Thomas Anglican Church - Bent River/Ullswater.
