Eleanor Taylor

TAYLOR, Eleanor Marjorie Gail (Kingshott) - Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Shores Care Community, in Gravenhurst, with family by her side, on Friday, February 4, 2022. She was in her 84th year. Eleanor will be greatly missed by her two children Arlene and Darren Taylor (Dawn), five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Eleanor was the beloved wife, for 58 years, to the late Ken Taylor. Daughter of the late Ed and Pearl Kingshott. She is survived by siblings Terry Kingshott (Eileen), Brenda Hunt, and Anne Reid. Sister-in-law of Gerald, and June, and the late Reta Taylor. She was predeceased by siblings Ernie, Verna, Syd, Delbert, Rita, Maurice, Abby, Eddie, and Cathy.

Aunt Eleanor was well known for baking bread and desserts for all her family and friends to enjoy.

Special thanks to all the staff at Muskoka Shores who provided Eleanor with excellent care over the past last six years. Eleanor was very close with the people who cared for her and was loved by all.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka or a charity of your choice and can be arranged through Reynolds Funeral Home.
