Peacefully at the Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill, on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in his 76th year. Ernest Edgar Vanderveer beloved husband to Jean Vanderveer (nee Quinton) of Thornhill. Beloved father to Alan Vanderveer of Willow Beach, Ont., Noel (Leslie) Vanderveer of B.C. and Diana (Jim) Sharron of Thornhill. Edgar is survived by his siblings; Glen (Rosie) Vanderveer of Sutton, Doug (Joanne) Vanderveer of Collingwood, Helen (Ron) Vanbeek of Innisfil, Susan (Jim) Moore of Cambridge, Danny Vanderveer of Huntsville, Nancy (Martin) Portlock of Innisfil and Jamie (Judy) Vanderveer of Port Sydney. Beloved grandfather to Sean, Michael, Amy, Ashley, Alicia, Ronny and Robert. Great grandfather to Haylee, Tucker and Koby. A Celebration of Life Service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 3:00 p. m. at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 140 Brooke Street, Thornhill, Ontario. Following this service, family and friends are invited to 163 Romfield Circuit, Thornhill, Ontario L3T 3H7 for a reception and to share memories. Arrangements entrusted to the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" Bracebridge, Ontario.
