Esther Shire

SHIRE, Esther Mae, peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Shire and dear mother of Donna Dryland (Doug), Max Shire (Barb) and Shirley Banks (Ken) all of Bracebridge. Loving grandmother of Barry, Lisa, Brent, Michael and Jennifer and great grandmother of Addison, Gordon, Logan, Lauren and Lucas. Also survived by her sister Bernice Wilson (Bill) and predeceased by her brother Ivan Gray and sisters Margaret Thompson and Joyce Worches. At Esther's request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel", Bracebridge. Memorial gifts may be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation in Esther's memory.
