Frances Johnston

Peacefully at Andy’s House Muskoka Hospice on Tuesday, June 28th, Frances passed from this life and is now with her heavenly Father evermore. Beloved wife of Reg (passed 2005) and dear mother of son Ray. Sister of beloved brother Wayne and Dear aunt of Connie and Karen.

Probably Fran’s greatest achievement was that she was a caregiver for her mom, her dad and then her husband and finally for her son. Frances was quite artistic especially in chalk pastels but had to stop because of an allergy. She indulged in making ceramics for a couple of years and has a dozen lovely pieces to her credit. She also loved gardening and was still out there pulling weeds at 92. She has beautiful flower gardens at each of her homes in Hamilton and Winona. Also, a very avid reader she frequented the library quite often. She tried and wanted to make things lighter and easier for others.

A small gathering of family will be held at Bracebridge Municipal Cemetery July 4th, 2022.

A special praise from son Ray: “Thanks so much dear mom for everything, I Love You”.
