McHUGH, Francis Joseph Patrick "Frank" (aka 'The Old Goat') Died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in Bracebridge, Ontario, on Sunday, March 14, 2010, in his 83rd year. Loving father of Michelle Van Deraa (Ron), Pat McHugh (Sheona Duthie), Dennis McHugh, Dr. Ann McHugh (Brent Hatcher) and Paul McHugh. Dear grandfather of Graham, Alison, Colin, Kellie, April, Emma & Maya. Brother of the late Helen Bergeron and the late Theresa Lee, and brother of Roseanne Smith, Angela Pare (Clare), Terrance (Terry) McHugh (Elizabeth) and Mary Katherine. Dad was born in Maidstone Township and enjoyed a successful career as a heavy duty mechanic in Detroit Michigan before moving to his beloved Muskoka where he operated Wilson's Lodge on Skeleton Lake and continued his career at the Building Trades Centre. Upon retirement Dad worked tirelessly as a volunteer driver for the Canadian Cancer Society. Dad always enjoyed travelling about the beautiful Muskokas or just hanging out with his many grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' in Bracebridge, on Sunday, March 21, 2010, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Bracebridge, on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at St. Anne's Cemetery, Tecumseh Ontario at a later date.
