December 13, 1927 — March 28, 2011

BUTTLER, Frank C. Beloved husband of Fern, lost his grueling fight with cancer at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his daughter Debbie, wife Helen and brother Henry. Loving brother to Herb (Judy). Devoted father to Vickie (Bruce) and Colin (Shannon). Stepfather to Steve (Karen), Tracey (Tom), Denise (Gord) and Greg (Tara). Patient, caring & playful to grandsons Myles, Matthew, Kristopher, Ryan & Cole and granddaughters Sarah, Rachel, Melanie, Jennifer, Lauren, Kristen, Corissa, Savanah & Makayla. Great grandfather to Joseph. Frank was a proud member of his community. He owned & operated a plumbing retail & contracting business in Port Carling. He was a member of The Lions Club for over 40 years. He loved to swim, water ski, windsurf and go boating. His biggest and proudest moment in his life was building & flying his very own ultralite aeroplane. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' in Bracebridge, on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. The service will be held in the chapel on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment at Port Carling Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, memorial gifts to the Canadian Cancer Society or the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
