With his family at his side loving him and supporting his choice, Frank Neal planned and completed the final step of Medical Assistance In Dying (M.A.I.D.). His illnesses were irreversible and he knew death was imminent. Without pain and in total peace Frank accepted the assistance he wished for.
That wonderful, funny man is remembered by his wife of 43 years, Chris MacDonald Neal of Bracebridge; his children Andrea and Max Cantin of Sherwood Park, Alberta and Brad Neal of Penetang; his beautiful grandgirls Brianna and Emily Cantin; his siblings Dave (Elizabeth) Neal of Foote's Bay; Fern (late Alan) Fuller of Parry Sound; Don (Tammy & late Abby Neal) White of Parry Sound; his 'other wives', sister-in-laws Barbara (late Paul) MacDonald Herriott of Bracebridge and Catherine MacDonald Haughton of Barrie.
Many nieces and nephews will remember Uncle Frank and his outrageous sense of humour.
We will be holding a gathering on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. in the Wooliver Room at our condo building Legends at the Falls located at 10 Kimberley Ave., Bracebridge, ON., for an opportunity to remember Frank and to share stories with those who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, please honour Frank by donating blood regularly. If you wish to make a financial donation in his memory, consider the Dialysis Unit at Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia or any charity of your choice.
