Passed away peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in Bracebridge, on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Loving mother of Roberta Vivian, Murray Atkinson (Denise) and Lloyd Atkinson (Patsy). Grandmother of 8 and their spouses. Great grandmother of 18 and great great grandmother of 2. Eldest child of the late Frederick & Alice Shortt. Predeceased by her siblings Milton Short, Margaret Mahon, Lawrence Shortt & Mervin Shortt. Friends will be received at the Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel', on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. As your expression of sympathy, memorial gifts to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated.
