Gayle Anne Quinn was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world on Wednesday, May, 25th, 2022 at the age of 71.
There are no words that can depict the marvelous, quirky, and giving person Gayle was to her family, friends, and community. At 5 feet tall, Gayle could whip up a cake, make a fashion statement, and gather people for coffee quicker than a snap of a finger. Gayle always had the “perfect spot” for a Restore find or a boutique buy on her weekly shopping trips. Gayle spent a majority of her time in the community with friends at Bell Pioneer, the Legion, Hospice Muskoka Butterfly Release, or listening to Live Music at a local event. Gayle loved to share the latest news, travel the world, and tell the wittiest, most stellar jokes, in her opinion at least.
Along with these many characteristics of Gayle, she also loved her role as a grandmother to Chris, Vivica and Jude and great-grandmother to Jensen. Gayle will be missed by her 3 children, Gary Roper (Michelle), Shawn Roper and Jennifer Peschutter (Jason). Predeceased by her husband Tom Quinn. Gayle was a dear sister to Mark Keall, Jayne Keall-Bunn, and the late Gary Keall. Gayle was an aunt to Matthew, Jessica, Riley, and Stephanie. Gayle was the daughter of the late Ivan and Rita Keall.
We will be gathering at Reynolds Funeral Home, 1 Mary St, Bracebridge on Friday, June 3rd, 2022, from 2-4PM & 7-9PM for visitation. Please find below one of Gayle’s favourite poems.
When we count
our many blessings,
it isn’t hard to see
That what we value most in life
are the treasures
that are free.
For it’s not the things
that we possess
that signify our wealth,
but the blessings
that are priceless
like our family, friends
and health.
