George Everett Harris, It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of George Everett Harris. George was a lover of nature, an inventor of games, a giver of kindness and a music man. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home from heart failure on Monday, May 23rd, 2016.George was loved by many as husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa and friend. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Erika, his siblings Ivan Harris (Marita) and Sheila Adeney, his daughters Elizabeth McMaster (William), Patricia Harris and Alisa Burdett (Ted), and cherished grandchildren Jacob, Zoe, Emily, Katie, Brooklyn and Brannan. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The service will be held at Port Carling United Church on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. As your expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Port Carling United Church, Gravenhurst Lions Club or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
