HOEFENMAYER, GERHARD ERICH (1933-2014) Gerry died peacefully, on Monday, September 15th, at the cottage. Born in Vienna, he is the only child of Dr. Erich Hofenmayer and Margit Posvek. Loving husband of Oriel Ashwell. Greatly missed by his children Rupert (Debbie), Daniel (Regina), and Theresa (Patrick). Fondly remembered by Lavender McMillan. Blessed by wonderful grandchildren Noel and Justin; Sebastian and Christian and Philip Berger; and Oliver and Emily Burke. Also let us not forget his faithful companion Betsy! Following his wishes a private funeral and interment were held at Christ Church, Gregory, Parish of Muskoka Lakes. A fun party for family and friends, to remember our good times with Gerry, will be held at a later date.
