Groenevelt, Gerrit died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, April 3rd, 2017 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Mar of Bracebridge. Dear father and Grumples of Lukas (Aubrie) Groenevelt (Eden), Cori (Brent) Wilson (Brooke, Katie, Delphina and William) and Dennis Groenevelt (Kara and Sheldon). Dear son of Cora and the late Arie Groenevelt. He is also survived by many close family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home in Bracebridge on Thursday, April 6th, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rotary House Cancer "Barrie", Simcoe Muskoka Regional Health Centre R.V.H Cancer Centre or the O.S.P.C.A.
