Gilles Ducharme

DUCHARME, Gilles, at age 85, passed away peacefully at the Pines in Bracebridge with his wife Iris and daughter Joanne by his side.

Gilles was the loving son of Leo and Cecile Ducharme (Sturgeon Falls) and loving brother of Gloria (Paiement) of Ottawa and Vital (Annette) of Gatineau, Quebec.

Gilles’ beautiful kind spirit and amazing outlook on life will greatly be missed by his beloved wife Iris, son Marc (Barrie), daughter Joanne, son in-law Shaun and grandchildren Tyler, Halie and Spencer.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gilles was a former resident of North Bay. Most of his career life was as an employee of Dupont of Canada and he retired as an employee of Dyno Nobel Inc. in 1999. While he lived in North Bay, he was an Active Charter Member of Knights of Columbus.

Considering the social distancing and the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family has no immediate plans for a gathering of family and friends.
