Glen Robinson

November 14, 1972 — August 3, 2018

Glen Norman Robinson, 46, of Bracebridge, Ontario, died in his sleep due to heart failure on Friday, August 3rd, 2018, with his companion of ten years, Sue Willey, at his side. Glen was born November 14, 1972 in Midland, Ontario. His mother passed away in December 1977, and Glen was adopted by Gladys and Murray Robinson in July 1979. Glen had two sisters, Nancy Lynn Hyde and Marcy Jill Barbaro and one brother, Richard Murray Robinson. Glen never married, however he has a beautiful daughter Kendal Lee Robinson, who is currently attending university with the intention to work in the field of social services or human resources. Shy and soft-spoken, Glen was a brother to everyone, and loved to laugh. As a child, he loved swimming and drawing, sketching and painting. He loved the outdoors, and every dog he ever met. Most remarkably, Glen was an excellent cook, and even as a young person bragged about his couscous dinner and beef wellington, and said no one could come close to his flavours. He was happy and comfortable in the kitchen. In recent years, Glen enjoyed being "Papa" to his 4 beautiful grandchildren. Glen had a great laugh, and loved his family deeply. We will all miss him greatly, and look for him in the next life. May his spirit rise to great heights and peace engulf his everything. Glen is survived by one daughter, Kendal of Collingwood, Ontario. A Private Memorial service will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home.
