Gloria Hayes, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 2nd, 2025, at the age of 83. While our hearts ache at her passing, we find peace in knowing that she has entered into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father.
Born with a heart full of grace and a spirit overflowing with kindness, Gloria spent her life as a beacon of love and faith. As the devoted mother of five-Debbie, Brenda, Wayne, Tania, and Jennifer-she poured her soul into raising her children with unwavering love, wisdom, and faith. To her 15 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren, she was not only a matriarch but a source of endless warmth, understanding care, and gentle guidance. Gloria had a rare and precious gift-she always saw the good in everyone. With a kind word, a soft smile, and a heart that forgave easily, she embodied the love of Christ in every way. She lived with humility and grace, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her faith was steadfast, her prayers ceaseless, and her devotion to God unshakable. She walked through life with a quiet strength, facing every challenge with the belief that God's plan was always good.
Her children held her in the highest love and respect, knowing that she was not only their mother but their greatest teacher, protector and cheerleader. She instilled in them the values of kindness, integrity, patience, and an enduring faith that will live on through generations. Her legacy is one of selflessness, compassion, and unwavering trust in God.
Though we will miss her deeply, we take comfort in knowing she is now rejoicing in the presence of her Savior, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Her life was a testament to God's love, and we are forever grateful for the time we were blessed to have her with us.
The family will be holding a private memorial service through Cavill Funeral Home to honor Gloria's life.
