Gwendolyn Worrell

WORRELL, Gwendolyn May at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Lonnie Worrell and loving mother of Elizabeth (Cal) and Pamela (Real). Devoted grandmother of Grace and Emma. Gwen will be lovingly remembered by her father Charles Close. She was predeceased by her mother Betty. Gwen is also survived by her brothers Kenneth and Leonard Close and was the special aunt of Chad, Louis and Brandon. She was the loving step-mom of Richard, Christopher and Dee-anne. Friends will be received at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 161, Bracebridge for a brief service at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 followed by a celebration of Gwen's life until 4 p.m. that afternoon. Memorial gifts may be made to the Salvation Army (Bracebridge Corps) or the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel".
