H. Mcgowan

McGowan, H. Bernice (nee Knight) of Bracebridge passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her husband, Ernest (2005) and beloved only child, Ernie (2005). Bernice is survived by her sister, Dorothy Cooper of Guelph; her grandson, Nathaniel, (Nicki) St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; her granddaughter Rebecca (Scott) McGowan-Baker, Vermont, US; 3 beautiful great grandchildren and her daughter-in-law Michaela Korb of Bracebridge. Bernice enjoyed a very successful career at Beecham Canada in Toronto and was a very proud member of Beecham's 25 year club. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Friday, October 3rd, 2014 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with the service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, a contribution to the MS Society of Canada would be appreciated.
