Hans Tomas Frommer,

Passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024, at Muskoka Hospice (Andy’s House) just short of his 95th birthday. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Luise Frommer. Loving father of Luise Frommer, Hans Frommer (Mhairi), Rita Gattoni (David) and Thomas Frommer (Diana). Cherished grandfather to Alicia, Brian (Sarah), Kyle (Stephanie), Celiegh (Steve), Michael (Hayley) and Molly (Simon). Great grandfather of Adriana, Monica, Julia, Benjamin Boettcher, Taeden, Austen, Avery, Carter, Leah, Ayla, Benjamin Frommer, Braden, Colten, Logan and Baby on the Way!! All of whom he loved dearly. Also predeceased by his mother and father, Klara and Anton Frommer, his sister Klara and his brother Anton.

Although Hans loved his family first, his second love was his long-standing career at Trans Canada Pipeline. Hans immigrated to Canada from Germany at a young age and continuously educated himself. He was very proud of his accomplishments throughout his life and was more than happy to share his story with anyone interested in listening.

At Hans request, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will take place at 1pm on Saturday, August 31 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bracebridge. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to Hospice Muskoka.
