Harry was a World War II veteran. He spent most of his life in Muskoka residing on Little Lake Joe. His brother Alf wanted us to mention they were the last of the "Craige Lea Boys". Harry married the girl next door, Naomi Croucher and were married for 65 years. Harry owned Waters Marine Service, first with his brother and then on his own. He was also caretaker for Rockhaven Island for a number of years. Dad would take courses at BMLSS in the evenings ranging from welding to bookkeeping. Courses were also taken in small motor repairs. He coached a hockey team with Joe Bissonette, a lifelong friend. He would also make a skating rink at the Marina for a game of hockey for the local children. The only surgery/illness Harry ever had in is entire lifespan was for a broken hip when he was well into his 90's. During his retirement years, Harry moved to Gravenhurst turning into quite the artist, painting pictures in oil and water. Always the inventor he could make something out of anything and everything. One of his paintings can be seen at the Bracebridge Fairgrounds. Harry was a volunteer at the Muskoka Boat and Heritage Centre in Gravenhurst where he could be seen refinishing row boats. Muskoka will sure miss Harry, with his love of water and nature at its best. Resomation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
