Helen Dewar

DEWAR, Helen Priscilla Pearl (nee Brookes) Born in Toronto in 1929 and passed away peacefully at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in Bracebridge, on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years Donnie and her devoted, loving children Kimberley Dewar, Kelli Dewar Moffatt and John Dewar. Proud grandmother of Shea & Macauley Moffatt and sister of Jimmy Brookes. Our family would like to thank her physician Dr. Vicki Dechert who provided kind and gentle care over the last 3 years. Also thanks to the nurses at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, who, without exception provided loving and expert care to Mom in the last week of her life. A special thank you to Jacqueline & Angela for being there. The care and support provided by the Red Cross and Hospice Muskoka are also greatly appreciated. A celebration of Mom's life will be held in the spring of 2012. Donations to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or Hospice Muskoka would be appreciated.
