Passed peacefully on Friday June 12, 2020 at the Pines in Bracebridge, Ontario at the young age of 92. Dad was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on October 14, 1927 to Esther and Jimmy Moultray. He was loving husband to our mother the late June Patricia Moultray (1928-94). He is survived by his children and their spouses, Carol (David) Callingham and Jim (Elizabeth) Moultray. He was very proud of his grandchildren; Jamie (Darlene) and Iain Callingham and Drew and Erica Moultray plus his namesake, great grandson, Harry Callingham. He is also survived by an older sister, Ann Campbell and her children, Linda and Roy Campbell.
Dad and his family immigrated to Canada after the Second World War (following his RAF service) in 1948. Our Mother followed in 1949 and they wed on October 1. He would be the first to tell you he had an amazing life in this country. Dad worked in specialty optics manufacturing, contributing to many defense, scientific and commercial optical projects. Dad lived most of the time in Toronto, though our parents loved exploring Ontario and Dad enjoyed spending his last retirement years in Muskoka. He was at peace when he decided to make the journey home to our Mother. Donations in his memory can be made to The Pines a public Long Term Care Facility in Bracebridge https://www.muskoka.on.ca/en/community-and-social-services/Donations-and-The-Pines-Support-Committee.aspx
