Howard Wykes

WYKES, HOWARD OSBORNE Howard passed away at SMMH on October 27, 2017, just days before his 98th Hallowe'en birthday. Dear husband of the late Norah Wykes (nee Philpott). Beloved father of the late Graham Wykes (Kathy) and Heather Wykes. Dearest Papi to Holly (Duong), Timothy, Meghan and Michael, and great-grandpapi to Lillian. Howard, a decorated WWII veteran, was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 101. He resided in Toronto for most of his life, escaping to his cottage for fishing and boating as often as he could. He enjoyed living at Chartwell, Bracebridge, for the last two and half years and will be sadly missed by his dear friend Thelma. Thanks to the hospital staff for their care and compassion. The family will have a private memorial and interment in Toronto at Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the Legion Poppy Fund are welcome. Condolences may be left at reynoldsfuneral.com
