Inez Flowers

Flowers, Inez Ruth, Died peacefully at Granite Ridge Retirement Residence in Gravenhurst on Thursday, April 9th, 2015 in her 88th year. Inez learned her work ethic growing up on the family potato farm in Perth Andover N.B. She parlayed this energy to create a successful nursing career that spanned over 65 years. Toronto became home although she worked in all parts of Canada. The only interruption came when she returned to N.B., bought a farm and raised race horses for 15 years. Inez certainly was a force to be reckoned with. Her humour and no nonsense approach to life had a positive impact on her family. She will be deeply missed by her son Bruce (Sally), grandchildren Jefferson and Stacey (Kevin) Waite and great-grandchildren Samuel, Sawyer and Jackson. Dear sister of Donna, Schylor and the late Charles, Maria, Dora, Golda, Merle, Ella, Leo, Dorance, Preston and Lowell. She is also predeceased by her parents Ernest and Lillian Flowers and great-grandson Liam Waite. Cremation has taken place. A Family Celebration of her life will be held in Muskoka and New Brunswick at a later date.
