Thwaites, James Kimberley "Kim", suddenly at Bracebridge on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the age of sixty. Kim had a career as a paramedic that spanned more than forty years. He served in Bracebridge, Woodbridge and Orillia finally returning to Muskoka. He was the beloved husband of Candace Thwaites (nee Brandvold) of Bracebridge and the dear father of Chris Thwaites (Ashley) of Gravenhurst, Nicholas Thwaites (Winter-Lee) of Barrie and Tyler Thwaites (Tiffany) of Gravenhurst. He will be loving remembered by his grandchildren Jordan and Dax. Kim was the son of Anne Thwaites (nee Thomson) and the late James E. Thwaites. Also surviving are his sister Judy Moore (Gary) and their family Jodie Evans (Randy), Jason Moore (Melanie) and their children Mitchell, Taylor and Parker Evans and Oliver Moore. He will be greatly missed by his brother-in-law David Brandvold (Aleida) and their daughter Tiffany Brandvold. A time to celebrate Kim's life will be held at the South Muskoka Curling and Golf Club, 10 Golf Course Rd., Bracebridge on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 2:30 until 5:30 p.m..
