Jack van Leeuwen died suddenly near his home in Bracebridge on Saturday, April 11th, 2015 in his 52nd year. Left to grieve and celebrate the life of this great man is his wife Jeanetta, his children Luke (Amanda), Kristen (Isaac) and Ben (Shandi). His father Jack van Leeuwen Sr. (Tini), his sisters Jolanda (Bruce), Miriam (Peter) and Elly (Greg) along with four nieces and one nephew. His father-in-law Koop Mulder (Janny deceased 2010) and his sister-in-law Henrietta. A quick-to-smile, big hearted, fun loving gentle giant of a man went home to be with Jesus today. Jack worked hard, played hard and was always the first one to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him. Jack loved the Lord and it showed in the unconditional love he showed to his family and friends. One of the greatest joys was finding "new-to-him" treasures, fixing them up and if he couldn't use it, find someone to bless with it. Jack loved to talk to anyone about everything, everywhere he went, be it in Bracebridge or thousands of miles away. He fiercely loved his wife and children and was so proud of his kids many accomplishments. The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held at Wellington Street Pentecostal Church in Bracebridge on Wednesday, April 15th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment Bracebridge Municipal Cemetery.
