WASSENAAR, Jacobus "Koos" Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14th, 2012 at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Engeland). Loving father of Josh Wassenaar (Kathy), Amy Back (Aaron) and the late Kelly-Ann. Cherished Pake of Spencer, Charlize and Hudson. Dear brother of Roely (Reg Cole) and Peter (Cathy). The family will receive friends on Friday, March 23rd, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel". The service will be held at the First Muskoka Congregational Christian Church, Muskoka Road 169, in Glen Orchard on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. An accomplished carpenter and woodworker, he taught many years at the Georgian College Carpentry Apprenticeship Program. Koos is also a former OPP Officer having worked at the Bala Detachment.
