James Charles French died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Friday, September 14th, 2018 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Bunn). Dear father of Michael (Heather) French and Lisa (Mark) Soos. Loving grandfather of Kaitlin (Wes) Forth, Kyle (Jen) French, Amber Soos (Logan Taylor) and Brooke Soos. Great grandfather of Lincoln Forth. Brother of Rosetta Larder (Bill), Marilyn Mann. Brother in law of Bev (Marie) Bunn. Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Hilda French, sister Shirley Webb and brother in law Ben Mann.
The family will receive friends at the Reynolds Funeral Home in Bracebridge on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 -1 p.m. The service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 at 1:00 with reception to follow at Browning Hall. Interment will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Bracebridge Municipal Cemetery. As your expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Pines Community Support system.
