James Matchett

Matchett, James Stephen "Bill" died peacefully, with his family members at his side at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Monday, July 16th, 2012 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Thelma (Cloke) Matchett. Dear father of Earl (Shirley), Al and Sandy and the late Gordon Matchett. Loving grandfather of Lisa (Moe) Gregoire, Debbie (Jay) Jessop and Stephanie (Al) Readman, Bryan, Katie (Aaron) Cartmill, Robin, Amy (Grady) Matchett, Bev (Dave) Hilton, Beth Falkanger, Brian (Patti) and Brad (Shelley) Steele and Lisa Pratt. In addition, there are twenty-two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Bill was the last surviving member of the James and Emilly (Goring) Matchett family. The family will receive friends and relatives at Reynolds Funeral Home "Turner Chapel" in Bracebridge on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The service will be held at New Hope Free Methodist Church in Bracebridge on Thursday, July 19th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by cremation.
