PETTIT, James Irving Passed away at his home in Windermere, Ontario, on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at age 91. Beloved husband of Jeanne. Dearly loved father of John Pettit, Ruth Donaldson (George), Diane Hall (Jamie) and the late Susanne Pettit-Crossman. Dearly loved step-father of Bill Tindale (Sally), Kathy Leslie (the late Steve), Ann Nye (Kevin), Cari Angold (Alan), Doug Tindale (Laurie) & John Tindale (Jennifer). Proud grandfather of 21 and great grandfather of 5. Much loved brother of Marie Cowherd, Roy Pettit & Joyce Stewart. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at Windermere House on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by his family.
